I personally do not care about the order of friends and links, and I still retain quite a few one-way or invalid links, which were once old friends
If not familiar, I wouldn't actively apply for others' friend links; such positions are not precious, merely a witness "Friends do not need links; links do not need friends"
For new acquaintances willing to visit and leave their names on the little site, out of courtesy and respect, I naturally choose to be inclusive and accepting. Perhaps I will visit in the future, but for now, a sense of strangeness may be necessary.
